Staying on burritos, Luc loves Street Taco on Haight or La Taqueria in the Mission
Sandwich? If you’re staying at Presidio or Laurel Inn, Golden Gate Market & Deli makes a phenomenal sandwich (per Luc).
Blue Barn & Souvla are two of the best salad joints. There are multiple locations of both!

If you’re getting into town early or trying to make a day before events get started, here are some things you might do.
• Point Bonita Lighthouse Trail hike in Marin. Luc is skeptical of hiking, but this one is easy and the views are incredible.
• Land’s End & Sutro Baths: A hike on San Francisco side of the bridge. More cool views of the Golden Gate Bridge, also relatively quick for anyone not trying to get too tired.
• Artichoke soup at Duarte’s Tavern: Want to see the coast and go for more of a drive? Make your way down Route 1 to Pescadero and head inland to Duarte’s Tavern. It’s a bar slash seafood slash soup slash pie place that’s been around forever. Get the artichoke soup. (About an hour 15 out of town)
• Walk or bike the Golden Gate Bridge: It’s about 2 miles long.
• Take a dip the water’s fine! We’ve got Ocean Beach, China Beach, Baker Beach, Crissy Field and Aquatic Park to choose from. You’ll make Luc proud and shake any hangover in the process.
• Take a Waymo! Download the app before you come and travel around the city via robot. Use referral code MONICAS93G for $10 off your first ride!
• Ride a cable car! On the other end of the transportation spectrum,
• Visit the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market! Saturday morning is the big farmer’s market at the ferry building and it’s where all the fancy restaurant chefs buy their produce.
• We would love to help you make plans if any of these don’t make sense or you have something else in mind. Please reach out and let us give you ideas.
